We're up all night to the sun [AU]
Somewhere around eleven, Neil loses his shirt. He's not sure if he just took it off and left it somewhere, or if it got snatched off, or what happened, but he hasn't got it anymore, and it's going to make the inevitable walk home cold, but he doesn't care. He's drunk enough to not care, and the club is warm and close and wonderful.
He's been dancing for so long that he feels it in his thighs and his lower back, and it's a glorious sort of an ache. He's not ashamed that half of his drinks have been bought for him. Probably more since his shirt disappeared. Maybe he should slow down a little bit. But he's having fun. Glitter has ended up streaked on him, and he feels effervescent, glorious. Like one of the fairies from Shakespeare, but real.
He giggles to think about being a fairy. That's ironic, in a fun way.
Maybe he ought to switch to something without any alcohol in it for a little while.

But he'd never been somewhere like this before, where all of this was-- was allowed. But after a couple of drinks he'd wandered out into the crowd, tried to forget what this place had done to him, and just tried to enjoy himself.
Which was how he ended up sort of tangled with another boy, shirtless and wild and covered in glitter.

He's cute. Soft in the jaw, but the lights highlight all the angles in his face, put all sorts of colors into his hair.

It's not the raucous dancing of the lost boys around a fire, but it's-- it's better.

He puts a hand on the boy's hip as they sway, liking how he boldly closes up the distance in between them. There's still moments where Neil worries about these things. But not tonight. Not too much.

Would he have been in Neverland?

It all feels rather electric, really. He touches his brow to the other boy's, and finds himself smiling.

The smile lights his own, a little daring and a little wicked and a little hopeful all at once.

He doesn't quite kiss him, but it's a close thing. Their noses touch, and then their lips very nearly do. He can feel the heat stirring low in his belly.

He's aware, then of the tightness of the binder higher around his chest. A gift from Krem. He tries not to think about it.

He thought for just a moment of the last person that kissed him. It hadn't felt quite like this, but Peter was far from disappointed.

Neil slides a hand down and cups the other boy's backside, drawing him in flush against him as he kisses him. It's a little harder the second time, punctuated, searching. He's not sure how long they can do this, right here in the middle of everything.
