There was plenty of noise to drown them out, and so Neil isn't too worried about the noise of Gabriel's gasping voice. If anything, it was terribly thrilling. He has no idea what he's doing, but Gabriel seems to be enjoying it all the same, and so Neil keeps doing what he's doing. His jaw aches a little. He has to pull back more often than he'd like. But he keeps at it.
