The worst part of it is that Rosie doesn't even pretend like Caleb might not just move on. That's fair, but it feels very reiterative, and not at all what Neil wants to hear right. But he can't--he can't demand that of her. She's his best friend, and he can't make her say things that don't make sense to say.
